Alpha in Beirut

What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation.

Last weekend we completed another Alpha course. This included a special weekend away we organized for worship and teaching on the work of Holy Spirit.

We had many wonderful moments of fellowship and great laughs but the best part was that this Alpha course has been planned and run by our Lebanese Team! Praise God for those He is equipping to fulfill His vision for Lebanon.

During the weekend 2 people chose to receive the Holy Spirit and are committed in joining our Grow Groups. This is an Bible study course using Beth Jones' book, “Getting a Grip on the Basics”.

We celebrate this step of commitment. Just weeks ago we met these for the first time. To see them make a commitment not to us but to Christ is a great reward!

During this Alpha series we have had 12 decisions for Christ and we know this is just the beginning!
