Birthday in the Village

Ain Kfar Zabad

The church in Ain Kfar Zabad was one of the churches you have heard about many times in previous newsletters. We helped to relaunch this church in 2017 when we moved to Lebanon and we have spent the past 2 years bringing teams and our family to the church to bring new life and the love of Jesus into the church and the surrounding village.

In this church, we have seen over 200 decisions for Jesus, because of this church the village is being impacted by the Gospel. We love the opportunity to visit our family in the Beqaa so we made it a point to go the first Sunday we returned from the US. It is always a blessing to see and enjoy the experience the love these people have for our family. While at the church we were asked to come back next week. This was a special day for me. Not only did I have the opportunity to celebrate my birthday at the church, but I was also invited to minister on my Birthday. This is the first time a woman was welcomed into the church to share the word of God.

I was so touched by the invitation and the overwhelming welcome and love that was poured out on me. They not only welcome us into the church and their homes as part of the family, but the church also came together and celebrated my birthday with lunch, cake, and a beautiful gift.
