7 Surgeries at 1 Time

An unexpected report from the doctor turned into another opportunity for God to show his faithfulness to us. While in the US for our short 3-week trip Julie visited with our family physician for a routine checkup and was told she needed to have surgery, in fact, she needed to have seven!.

We made an appointment with a specialist to get a second opinion and found it was something that should be taken care of sooner rather than later. So we decided it was best to have the procedure done while still in the US. Thank God, insurance covered 100% of the hospital stay, surgery, and the Dr fees!!!! So our only out of pocket expenses we have had is for Prescriptions!

This meant we had to be in two places at once. Our Beirut schedule is full for the rest of 2018 and is filing up for next year! So I headed back for Lebanon while Julie stayed back with the kids to have the procedures.

After the surgery was performed the surgeon visited with Julie and shared the extent of the surgery. The doctor explained that normally the procedure would have been done in 7 Surgeries, but she was able to successfully complete everything at once. Praise God!

With each checkup, the doctor has said that Julie is healing faster than her best patients. She is projecting 6 months for full recovery, but Julie and I know the faithfulness of God and are continuing to stand in faith for accelerated healing!

Julie and the kids have booked their return flights to Beirut and will return on the 17th, one day after her doctor will release her to fly. This is just four weeks post-op which is half the time patients are required to wait before traveling.

We are continuing to see God working in Julie's body, in our family and in the lives of the Lebanese people we are privileged to sever through prayers and support.

Until All Have Heard,
