A Routine Check-Up

It started as a routine check-up. While back in the US we took advantage of some Dr and Dentist visits. During a check-up with my doctor, he discovered something necessary for me to visit a specialist. I explained that we were returning to Beirut on March 6 - so he got me the first possible appointment, which was today! I met today with a surgical specialist who recommended that I immediately have a laparoscopic procedure on the 13th, which is the earliest appointment she could make for us.
This means that Matt will return to Beirut on his own tomorrow, but thank God for favor with the airline - we were able to change the tickets for the kids and me. This is an unplanned change for sure - but we are thanking God that what could have been a major medical problem was caught early and is a simple surgery.
As a family, we want to let you know what is happening - because to us, you are part of our family and a major part of what God is doing in Lebanon. Though I won't be released to fly for four weeks after the procedure, the outreach plans for the GoChurch Launch Team are on track. We will continue to keep everyone informed with miracles we continue to see God do.
