The Bible says, "... what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen." (Hebrews 11:2 NLT). On Saturday, February 10 we presented a drama, called MY STORY. But that story doesn't start there.

Grace Christian Church, from Sterling Heights, Michigan joined with CLUB1040 GoTeams to bring this dream into reality. Ten people gave a week away and came to Lebanon. They traveled around the country, worked with refugee kids, helped in Lebanese churches, and were a huge blessing to our family. The team also spent hours on the street sharing the love and message of Jesus. From their work, we received contact details for 62 people interested in GoChurch.

After the drama, we invited everyone to come to a Meet & Greet event at a coffee shop. At this event, we had 43 come - 41 of whom were not part of any church. One young lady - fighting back tears, said, "I'm not a Christian - I'm not even close to going to a church, but what you are doing here what I need in my life". We had 4 decisions for Jesus that night!

This year we will be hosting outreaches on the second weekend of the month and we are rejoicing that this beginning will lead to vibrant, life-giving church in Beirut. What I'm excited about is that this model can be repeated throughout Lebanon! That is what we want to see - a Lebanese church planting movement! What we are most excited about, however, is that you are part of that movement now - sending us here, you have seed in these new churches!
