Our dear friend, and Longtime CLUB1040 partner, Dave Eggen, spent 21 days helping us and 3 Lebanese churches. This was his 50th mission trip and third time with us in Beirut!
He is an expert in computers and technical equipment, but he also understands our fundamental team concept and the importance of replicating what he knows in others so everyone reaches the desired goal. He understands that work behind the scenes is not only important but in fact it is part of the work behind the pulpit - one body, one message, one ministry, many parts.
One of the Lebanese churches we work with purchased some new equipment for themselves but decided to wait to install it until Dave arrived! He also helped two other churches set up their sound systems for their space.
For GoChurch Beirut, Dave spent days reviewing our plans and developing solutions for our planned outreach events. Not only that, though he has returned to the US, he continues to work on developing a training manual that we will use for our setup teams.
He is also creating a broadcast quality solution that will allow us to record Pastor Matt Beemer Weekend Worship Experience Services, making them available in digital and webcast formats.
