Celebrating the birth of Jesus in the Middle East.
This Christmas season came with several firsts for our family.
Our first Christmas in the Middle East. Our first Christmas on the Mission Field and
our first time planning a Christmas play!!
We were excited for the opportunity to plan a Christmas program for one of our partner churches here in Beirut. The excitement on the kids faces when they got to see they were going to wear costumes… How do people in the Middle East dress up to play people in the Middle East?? The same way we do in the U.S.
Of course on the mission field there were some last minute surprises and opportunities but God did what He does best. He showed his great love for the people and the children. So many came up to us after the service and thanked us for preparing the play.
This was the first of what we believe will be many productions in this church. We thank God for the opportunity to show the love of Jesus and help the people see the Christmas story acted out by the children of the church. It is all because of you and the great love you show for us and for the unreached in the Middle East.
